Hi,
Anybody know about the interview process for this boutique investment banking shop? They've worked on deals like Sprint - Softbank and the Dodgers and are digital media/sports focused. I have a phone interview this coming week and was wondering if anyone has gone through the interview process with them? What kind of questions do they ask? (technical or fit oriented?)

Interviewed with them a year ago. Technical questions were very basic, definitely more fit oriented. Culture fit/interest in media/sports seems very important to them, something that was emphasized during a friend's superday.
@"Will M" How did your interview go? Any idea on how long until we hear from them about whether we got invited to the next step? (Just had my phone interview yesterday)
@"intl-student-93" Did your friend/you get an offer from there? And do you know how long after the first round phone interview until we hear whether we got invited to the super day? I am definitely strongly interested in media/sports so I hope I conveyed that well in my interview...
@ballsohard13 friend got an offer, I didn't make the superday. I remember superday invites out within 24 hours. They took like 2 weeks to send first round rejections..

Had interview yesterday, was told next round is another phone interview and super days are Feb 4th. Haven't heard back yet.

Raine, is a great firm if you want to work in TMT. It was formed by WME a few years ago to create synergies b/t their talent and digital media firms/platforms.
Thank you for your insight. I definitely do want to work in the TMT/Media/Sports space, so I hope that I will hear something soon.
Whats interesting about Raine when I interviewed, is that they don't seem to strictly split between advisory and investments (growth equity mainly). That seems like an extremely interesting opportunity if anyone is really passionate about TMT. Though when I interviewed, I had more interests in Tech than either Media and Sports, and that seemed to be not enough. (sports seems like an overall interest across the firm).
Haven't heard anything yet. When i got my first round they said lsat week or today as an option for the first round so some ppl probably had their first round today and they probably will give out decisions tomorrow

Was invited to a final rounds on Wednesday 2/4, next week. From a target, and not sure if this is the only final round at the firm.
I had a 2nd round screen on the phone today. Sounds like I didn't get it. Any other updates/info from non-targets?

I didn't apply this year. I'm just trying to learn as much as I can for a year or two out and raine is definitely one of my top interests
