Rank prestige, exit opp strength, and exit opp locations of BB jobs

Since WSO feels like its dominated by people in IB, I would like to hear more about other other divisions within BB investment bank. For people not going into IB, how would you rank the following positions at top BB banks (JPM, BOFA, GS, MS) Investment banking, Equity Research, Sales and Trading, Corporate Banking, Credit Analyst, Private Wealth Management, Merchant Banking, Commercial Banking, Operations, Any type of Risk Analyst (Market Risk, Liquidity Risk etc) I understand that some of these labels are broad and that each bank may have a stronger reputation within each of the mentioned divisions, but for the sake of simplicity, try to average it out. Example: IB - Prestige (difficulty to land a job in from undergrad): 8, (1 being lowest 10 being highest) Exit opp strength: 8, Exit opp location: PE, etc

Who cares about prestige. Go for the role you think is most interesting

I completely agree. Let me clarify, when I used the word prestige I meant difficulty to land a job in.

Ahh I see, I'm only an intern so I can't really help but interesting thread!
