Ft partners no doubt.
No I've honestly seen them equally represented at good funds PE and assuming RJ team is smaller that's a plus for them.No real input other than both are sweaty. I know a guy at one of the extremely good UMM PE funds from Boston RJ that team, got some general info. Basically the best team at RJ punching way above the bank and accordingly sweaty - maybe better bang/buck in terms of grind vs ft but I can't say w certainity
Not sure what aboce poster background is, but don’t write off Boston tech because you haven’t heard of it.
This is going to be good for obvious reasons
Boston sucks as a city compared to NYC, just go to FT and enjoy your time there.
RayJay and its not even close
RJ Boston is an absolute sleeper team and punches above its weight in PE recruiting. UMM is accessible, not sure about MF but would not be surprised.
Ya, just did a quick LinkedIn search — notable exits include Carlyle, Summit, Accel-KKR, Spectrum, Providence / PSG, BV, HarbourVest.. sheesh these guys have shockingly insane placements
Check their group website too — insane dealflow to high quality tech sponsors / large strategics
Heard analysts get absolutely crushed though and that they hired a bunch of laterals, so quality of analysts may have decreased.
Yeah they're probably joining the Carlyle accounting team
Comp is above street too, they have their own bonus pool based off deal fees.
