RBC Banking Structure - Who does the modeling?
I know RBC has M&A and lev fin teams, DCM, ECM, and coverage teams. Anyone have insight on if lev fin or coverage teams do modeling and how much? Are there any buyout-shop exit opps for M&A, lev fin, or coverage groups?

industry coverage runs builds and manages models. Leveraged finance provides the bond/lev loan overlays.
That is false. Lev Fin does their own modeling, and usually the modeling of the other groups they're working with.
Nope, coverage retains control of models. Lev fin's financing models are attached to the operating model managed by coverage.

Sure, except for the wins against the competitors, the job becomes stale. New regs, travel and commute from CT are wearing.

Totally depends. You'll get modeling experience either way, but I would recommend a coverage group.
