I received a call for a VP position in the NY PU&I team. Can anyone talk to me about their work? Hours? Culture? How nice is the team?
I never minded long hours but at my current bank my colleague often have difficulty understanding that I sometimes want to have one dinner with the wife and child.
From my perspective: great team, sweaty on the hours and insane deal flow

I interviewed with them a few years ago and heard from others that RBC PU&I is the most sweaty group in the bank, very long hours, terrible people to work with, but have great deal flow. Not sure if things have changed recently, but I would do more diligence on the role before making a move.
