Recruiting out of NYU Stern with no clubs

Currently recruiting for SA 28 as a sophomore at NYU Stern not being in any good clubs. It feels almost impossible to get a Stern undergrad to respond to cold emails. If anyone successfully recruited out of Stern without clubs I would really appreciate any insight on how you went about it.

sent out ~250 with 4-5% response rate. TBH first 60% of those was with a terrible resume format, but since fixing it my response rate has barely improved if at all.

Thar response rate is not even bad, that's typical. You just havent sent out enough emails. Theres people sending out thousands. And why email only NYU? Literally find anyone you can make a connection with.

you mean it’s hard for Stern alumni to respond? How helpful r these clubs is it mainly for networking?
