Bonuses should be the same, regardless of office - at least this is what the firms say.
Speaking to current analysts on the West coast, it seems that NYC paid 80k for year end and people in SF and LA got paid 70k. I'm not sure about Houston and Chicago, but they probably got the same bonuses as other regionals.
So it's only a 10k difference, which doesn't matter in the long run. Also, keep in mind that in NYC, that extra 10k burns really fast after taxes and a higher cost of living.
I know people who got paid top in regional offices.
