Reimbursement - Charged overnight packages

Hello. I have a quick question. Last year I was a SA at a BB. On a weekend, I had to overnight several FedEx packages and sicne no analyst was there to give me the corporate card and our system was down, I charged everything to my CC. I never got reimbursed (it was the final week and things were crazy) and I just found the receipts totalling close to $150. I have kept in touch with everyone in the group and they liked me a lot. The question is, should I ask for reimbursemet or let it go?

I would ask. If they like you and if you did a good job, there should be no shame in asking. I would ping one of the admins and go from there. Good luck!

Have your attorney call them and DEMAND the money back, you'd like that wouldn't you optical charge.

LOL.

Wow, you sound exactly like a prick I once worked for.

When you get into a real investment bank and understand the nuances, there is no harm in asking. This guy is obviously in college and could use the money back. Granted it's almost 9 months later, but if he has a good rapport and is honest, no harm should be done and that's why I suggested asking an admin.

As for demanding money back, that's his call and for such a small amount it's not worth it. Since he worked at a BB, and not small shit-ass/stingy boutique, most of the people there are probably reasonable so it should be fine to ask.

If you have accrued expenses and the company's policy is to reimburse, they are legally required to pay-up. Should you DEMAND it back, depends on the firm and whether if you give a shit about your reputation following your departure.
