Rejected for role while networking with team?
Applied for role, cold emailed a director on the team. We spoke, and he seemed to like me and referred me to other team members to talk to. Have more calls set up with the team then I get a auto reject
I have a call set up tmrw. Is this just HR doing their shit? Not sure what to think

I’d mention in the end and say you are really interested, but you apparently got rejected and say you would pursue the role for full time. Sometimes the juniors and seniors don’t know if the roles are filled up already. The MD only passed you along, he didn’t push you.
