Relocating and Jumping Ship
I'm currently in a back office function for a large foreign bank in New York and my position is being eliminated and moved to Charlotte. I'm willing to relocate as I went to college down there so my manager called me today and told me the position is officially posted and to apply.
My goal is to move to a FO commercial or corporate banking position would it be frowned upon to start networking as soon as I relocate and if I get lucky leave within six months?
Also I have a non-traditional degree (wealth management) and have been in the BO for 3 years now am I screwed? I am willing to start over as an An1.
Thanks in advance.
