SA converted to full time IN THE SAME YEAR?
I am curious as to whether it is possible to convert SA to full time in the same year. For example: doing an SA in 2021 saying that it is the third year on a 3 year course but continuing to master degree. After finishing the internship, ask to start in the same year. The reason why I think that would make sense is because it is quicker. What’s the point of doing a master degree if I’m just going to end up in IB anyway?
But I haven’t heard of anyone doing this and it would be strange as FT analysts usually start when SAs start.
Quite possible in Europe, know a handful of friends who have done it. For the US, I highly doubt it.
Now will be almost impossible due to market conditions, who knows in 2021 but not all banks allow it in Europe
