Should I leave my stable S&T role at a mid-tier BB to join a new IB team at the firm?

I work on a relatively good desk in Fixed Income S&T at a mid tier US BB. I’ve been interviewing to join a brand new IB coverage group at the bank to be the first analyst on the team. Does this sound like a good opportunity to people? I’ve wanted to make the move to banking but it seems like a non-traditional role given the senior heavy construct of the team and being the first analyst. I’m told I’d work across a junior bench with other groups on the deal (ex. Lev Fin, FSG). Curious if anyone has any insight on this or has worked on a niche IB team in the past. I’d likely have to restart as an analyst 1 (I joined S&T last summer) but tenure reset would be somewhat offset by higher base pay (110 vs 100k) and hopefully higher bonus at some point.
