SIE and Series 63 Exam Difficulty

Hi all,

I'm an incoming A1 that needs to complete both of these exams by June 1st. How many hours does it take to study for these tests? I've heard the Series 63 is more difficult than the SIE. If you fail your first try at one of these exams, how long do you have to wait to take it again? What happens if you don't pass them before your start date?

SIE is more difficult than the 63, unless you're some nerd that spent his time in college learning about the differences between corporate retirement plans.

Generally, you get two tries per exam. If you haven't passed the exam by the deadline given, you're either canned or told to pass them asap in order to avoid get canned. Your bank will give you study materials (hopefully Knopman Marks) and I'd recommend crushing practice quizzes and watching all the videos.
