Small Dilemma

I'm a rising Sophomore. I'm currently working in the back-office of a discount brokerage, it's simple operations. I'm doing it because it pays well, and I work 35 hour weeks. I just started working here this week.

However, I have an interview tomorrow at a Boutique IB, that is currently expanding into Canada, but it's based in NY-US. The job is for assisting in equity research for the month of August. I'm not even sure if the role is paid, but my obvious goal is to gain work experience.

I was wondering if I should quit Job A at operations and take on Job B (If I get it) just for one month of work experience. Another perk includes possibly coming back for next summer. If I quit Job A, I'll burn the bridge with the company, but I dont really care as I probably wouldn't work for them in the future. Are there are any legal percussions? the job offer/contract did not state any terms regarding resignation. I will obviously make my decision when all my eggs are in the basket, but would really appreciate the advice.

P.S. Would future employers even care about this position, since its really short-term?

Its only a month long but it still goes on your resume. When listing on your resume instead of putting September 2007, I think you can list something like Fall 2007. They will never know the difference. I don't think that is unethical or wrong.
