Sophomore internship search advice

Hello all,

I'm a sophomore at a top 3 LAC w/ solid GPA hoping to get an IB internship junior year, but am having trouble finding an internship this coming summer. Is it too late to still find a solid internship in VC, PE, WM, or really any finance-related job that will help boost my resume and prepare me for junior year jobs and job interviews? I've been looking for quite a while, and a few things fell through and now I'm essentially starting over my job search process. Anyone been in this spot and have good advice/specific jobs to look into this late in the application process?

He gave me very good feedback to take my networking calls to the next level. In addition, I shared my TMAY, why banking and 7 stories with him. He gave me feedback to help structure my responses to more banking specific and almost tailor my responses so that they implicitly show my interest and fit for banking.
