Sophomore midsized tech internship

Hi all,
I have a chance to intern as a sophomore with a fairly obscure but decent sized financially related tech company (roughly 2 billion valuation, private) in a non-prime city (think Raleigh, Atlanta etc.). How would this likely appear for junior year recruiting compared to say a startup, boutique Investment firm, F500 etc.? White male target high GPA, considering both IB and consulting. I know boutique IB/PE and F500 internships are more common but the internship looks really interesting and I’ve had little luck getting those, and I’m curious how a in-between size tech company would look.
