Hey all, I am a freshman at a top target (HYPW) and to be honest I got completely fucked in club recruiting and have no finance clubs. Am I cooked? I have a banking internship lined up next summer at a mid-sized investment bank so I am chill on that front but do the clubs themselves matter for my prospects?

Meh I always thought the clubs were overly cliquey and kind of annoying so it actually can register as a negative for me when doing resume review. YMMV - some alumni gate-keep here too though.
Networking -> internships -> grades (assuming 3.7+) -> clubs in that order for me.
I don’t care about clubs
It matters to some degree at Wharton. But for HYP, you could get into any bank on the street without being in a finance club.
