There's no benefit to having the unlimited card now that OMNY is around - they do the math for you and you can only spend less than unlimited using OMNY. Reason is if you take the subway enough in a given week to justify unlimited, they'll credit it - and if you go on vacation or don't go to work for a week you don't pay for it. Versus your monthly unlimited card doesn't care if you only take the subway a few times in a month. No brainer.

Plus just tapping your phone is much easier than digging out a card every time.

Was a SA last summer. You connect your credit / debit card to OMNY Website and use that for all your rides. After 12 rides / week every other ride is free

I'm in incoming SA in NYC at a Tier 1 EB (CVP/EVR/PJT) within the M&A group and will have to take the subway to work

Can you explain the OMNY thing please? Thank you

Bro no offense but what does you being at a “tier 1 EB” have to do with a question about taking the subway to work?

Idk if the pricing has changed since last summer, but it's cheaper to buy the monthly than pay the weekly cap, but it just gives less flexibility (you have to use it x number of times in a month for it to be worth it)
