Summer Associate IB GPA
I go to a top 5 business school and I'm recruiting for investment banking. My GPA is a 3.0 right now. Will this hinder me in going after summer associate investment banking positions at a bulge bracket or middle market/boutique? My school implements a Grade Non-disclosure policy too so will banks even ask for my GPA?
Even if you have grade non-disclosure, banks will still ask. They may not care about your overall GPA, but the will care about whether or not you got A's in finance and accounting (especially if you have a non-business background). A +700 GMAT (with a solid quant score - 47 and above I would think) might help if you got B's in both.
This is 100% inaccurate. I'm a second year at an M7 business school with non disclosure, recruited banking last year, spent the summer with an EB and will return next year. They're not allowed to ask and you're not allowed to tell them.
Guys, I'm new here. How do I attribute the pile of poo to the comment above?
Many thanks
Is this the same for internships? I heard it's not that bad for internships since you're not done with the program, they don't ask for GPAs.
Dumb question... how do you have a GPA if you're recruiting for summer associate internships? Shouldn't that make this the middle of your first semester?
I'm using the current GPA I have from the classes I have already taken...
How many semesters/courses have you completed?
If they have grade non-disclosure shouldn't be an issue
Wouldn’t those with a high GPA put that on their CV/ Resume?
You’re not allowed if you’re at a school with GND
Are you retarded?
Can you just fucking retire.
