Summer Associate IB GPA

I go to a top 5 business school and I'm recruiting for investment banking. My GPA is a 3.0 right now. Will this hinder me in going after summer associate investment banking positions at a bulge bracket or middle market/boutique? My school implements a Grade Non-disclosure policy too so will banks even ask for my GPA?

Even if you have grade non-disclosure, banks will still ask. They may not care about your overall GPA, but the will care about whether or not you got A's in finance and accounting (especially if you have a non-business background). A +700 GMAT (with a solid quant score - 47 and above I would think) might help if you got B's in both.

Is this the same for internships? I heard it's not that bad for internships since you're not done with the program, they don't ask for GPAs.
