Hi all,
I am working as a Summer Associate at a small boutique IB this summer and I am hoping to transition to an EB or larger MM firm for FT and I am trying to figure out how likely or possible this is. I know that at the analyst level there is significant turnover in the SA->FT transition. However, at the Associate level you are suppose to be a career banker which makes me question/interested in how many spots leftover there typically is at firms after FT offers are given to summer associates.
I appreciate any insight that you have on this.
