I know this is a longshot, but I'm wondering if anyone has ever done this successfully.
I'm a Senior Consultant at Deloitte (Manager level at PWC, EY, KPMG) (Associate at MBB) in tech consulting, and I'm bored out of my mind. I mostly build financial modelling tools for pharma and healthcare firms, and like the finance aspect way more than the tech aspect of it.
I was in the military so I'm a non-traditional age, and really trying to avoid the MBA route if I can. Went to a non-target school and got an Information Systems degree.
Is it possible to lateral (downwards) to an analyst position in ibd? Anyone know anyone who's ever done it?
