Telling interviewers that you interviewed for the same position last year?
Should I tell interviewers that I interviewed for the same position the previous year? Should I say that I have gained experience in my current job since my last interview? Or should I just act like this is my first investment banking analyst interview at the firm?
For example I had first round screenings with associates/analysts last year and I am getting another shot at interviews this year. Would they hold it against me if I didn't pass the screening last year? Doesn't that indicate the interview was bad?
I landed a FT offer from a group that rejected me for a summer. Tell them that you interview and didn't get an offer, the feedback you got, and what you did to change/improve and why you should be given an offer now.
Why would you? Don't say a word unless asked for.
This would be the best way to go.
Have a response for it in the event that they ask about it. Otherwise, don’t mention it or allude to it at all.
