The Most Important Question You Can Ask In Interview

All -

I am convinced that WFH has made the most important interview question you can ask as a candidate in an interview is how good is your Information Technology (IT). Followed by are you using a zero trust cloud based VPN that lives in the internet or does all VPN traffic route back to an appliance at the home office. Honestly, if a candidate asked me that I would view them as being so insightful that I may be tempted to offer them the job right on the spot.

Personally, IT at some places was bad before. But Covid took any problems that existed before and just amplified them. It isn't fun waiting 20 minutes for a large PPT file to open off the drive or waiting three minutes every time you try to pres-link a file.

How has IT impacted your life since going remote?
