Thoughts on "Applied Mergers & Acquisitions" by Robert Bruner

I'm looking for a textbook on M&A that goes beyond just discussing standard valuation techniques? I noticed that this book is being used for m&a specific classes at some top mba programs. Does anybody have any thoughts on this book or other similar options?

If anybody knows if the cd that can be bought with the book is worthwhile that would be helpful as well.
