Tips / recommendation on proof reading on short timeline

What are some strategies you use to proofread? BTW, I don't have a printer.

I recently started a new role and have been making silly typos. The problem that I have faced is after spending weeks on a report you start to lose the will to re-read the whole thing bc its so boring! and when you are that involved, you will miss the typos (since its your own writing.)

Normally, I would close the document, work on something else and come back fresh; but how do you handle it on a short time frame (i.e. you don't have time to take a break)

Also, my work does not allow me to install Grammarly.
