Tips to hop off the prestige wagon?

Hi All, really struggling with this lately so I wanted to articulate my thoughts to an anonymous chat forum to get "quality" feedback.

Background: Big 10 Business School, obviously not very prestigious. I have realized this fall that every decision I have made (the frat I rushed, internships I took, network I build) has been focused on maximizing this poison of prestige.

Problem: I got an internship offer at a no-name shop, but I really love the team and culture. It seems like a place I could settle in long-term (I know, naïve to say I know what I want to do long term, but this is just to say that the people and culture are fantastic). Other options on my plate are a lot of corp fin at F500's, T3 consulting stuff, or potentially a ultraboutique LMM IB

Question: Were any of you in similar positions? What did you choose (and ultimately, why)? How did that choice play out for you?

TIA!!

Just gotta get over it tbh. Its obvious when the nontarget/no name shop guys have massive chips on their shoulder.
