Why is PWP that high? I get that they advised on a couple of $10bn Blackrock deals last year, but other than that their FIG practice largely consists of capital raising for random FinTech companies. Nothing noteworthy. You may as well put up there PJT given they advised on the Capital One-Discover merger...

I feel most EBs active in FIG (EVR, PJT, LAZ, PWP) are more or less the same in terms of their quality or reputation. I don't think any of them are worth highlighting over the others

Analyst 1 in IB - Cov

1a - GS, JPM

2b - MS

3 - BofA, Barc, Citi

4 - LAZ, PWP

5 - Everyone else

Note that there's a big drop-off from the top 3 BB. Also, the EBs specialize mostly on advising on the asset management/fintech side (i.e., their practice is not as robust or holistic as a GS or a JPM, for example)

Ardea - add next to MS

EVR - strong insurance team id put them next to the BBs

JEFF - I see them as good as Laz. Same with PJT

JPM's FIG franchise is #1 nowadays. I get the hype around GS FIG considering its historical track record in buy-side placement, but purely from a deal flow perspective it has slipped a lot over the last 5-10 years
