Top IBD Groups at DB
Hello everyone, title says it all. Which groups are the best at DB and which ones are the worse? I am an incoming intern and I want to make sure I get into a top group.

What about TMT and Consumer?
Consumer is weak. TMT is ok - they did some mega deals in the last couple years I think
How is healthcare? They just internally promoted a new global head

Seems like they rebuilt team over last two years and recent deals have been good - good amount of sponsor advisory in the space of 5-10bn

DB is a BB
Both Product groups (Lev Fin / Sponsors) are strong as DB's core strength is its balance sheet. On the coverage side, REGLL / Industrials are usually the two strongest in terms of advisory.
Is DB's DCM/LDCM practice separate from LevFin?
DCM is like normal DCM. LDCM is LevFin at DB, they just call it that
Just to make sure I got you right, DCM and LDCM are totally separate groups at DB? DCM = normal cap markets (ig/hy/sov bonds + ig loans), LDCM = heavy LBO modelling (lev loans)
