1)Wisconsin is on a similar tier as UIUC

2) Penn state and rutgers are worse than UIUC and IU (non workshop) .....IU and UIUC place well in chicago

3) Minnesota >>> Maryland>>>Purdue > MSU..... Minnesota is a core school for Minneapolis offices, and Purdue is a Non-Target.

  1. Agree
  2. Penn State is worse than UIUC, debatable; Rutgers is definitely better than UIUC. Rutgers and IU non-workshop also debatable but hard to determine because I see kids from both on the street a lot, but obviously not sure who was in workshop vs. not.
  3. Don't know much about these schools but I' say UMD is probably the best out of those four just from alumni I've seen on the street.

Rutgers and PSU placed incredibly well this cycle, can see it across this forum

Agreed - put Purdue higher without realizing just because of overall brand name

I think IU as a whole is very overrated, but there's no denying the success of the IBW, placements across NYC/CHI, and EBs/BBs/MMs consistently
