Transfer or no transfer?

Hello everyone,

I'm a rising sophomore at a LAC in upstate NY ( liberty league) majoring in CS and Econ with a 3.7. I'm satisfied with my school but I feel like I could push further up the ladder for more prestige and OCR. Going into college I didn't know I would be interested in finance this much and my school doesn't hhave a finance program. Do you think I should transfer and what are the odds I get a better school?

I'm no expert on this by any means, but if you want to be at an LAC, there are very good ones for OCR. A lot of NESCACs have good OCR and alumni connections (especially Williams and Amherst). Hamtilon and Bowdoin also do pretty well, and Trinity has a pretty good presence on the Street. Non-NESCAC LACs like Davidson and W&L do well in Charlotte IB. But if you don't care about moving to an LAC, you could go basically anywhere, and your options are pretty open with a 3.7.
