Unconventional Timeline?
Rising sophomore here. Will be graduating a semester early and had a question about how FT recruiting works in my case. Since I'm graduating in January, and most kids begin FT during their summer, will BB/EB firms allow me to begin work early as well (ideally in February)? I know I could be traveling in the last semester, but want to begin early for financial reasons.
Bump
I would ask your bank. I know someone at an EB who was able to start in January and ik someone at a BB who wasn't, but it's really firm dependent, and it depends on their staffing needs during that time
Thanks for the insight! Would u say most banks are open to early starts, or are these the only two instances in which u are familiar with?
Curious to hear anyone else's experiences with graduating a semester early (or if you know someone who did), and whether your/their ib firms allowed ~6 month early start.
Take the time off before you go on the grind... I know it doesn't seem possible in today's world, but two years from now, after vaccinations are out, go on a vacation and unwind before you hit the desk. After the work starts, it's gonna be your whole life.
