Washington and Lee for NYC EB/BB
Hey everyone, I'm trying to ascertain how good Washington and Lee is for NYC BB/EB. Any insight/anecdotes/knowledge about OCR would be great.

Career Resources
Small but places a ton of kids to BB/EB. Strong network through societies/Greek life
which ones specifically? Evercore/Moelis?
There were a couple of W&L kids in my BB analyst class.
One of the group heads for JPM's media and telecom group went to Washington and Lee. This was a while ago, obviously, but it backs up what others are saying about W&L placing pretty well.
All BBs do OCR, not a ton of EBs though (unless things have changed in the last few years). They also feed a ton of analysts into MM shops like Harris Williams (founder is a W&L grad), Suntrust, and Lincoln. For that reason they have a very strong MM PE presence as well.
I would say that compared to other highly ranked LACs it would be among the best on the street and that its alumni really to go to bat for each other in hiring situations and networking.
Thanks for the info. Are most of the MM/BB positions in Charlotte/the South? I worry that the school would limit me from getting opportunities in major cities that aren't southern.
The BB positions will all be NYC, even Wells will put people up there instead of in the Charlotte HQ sometimes. The MMs tend to just be at the HQ - Lincoln is based in Chicago, HW in Richmond, STRH is Atlanta. So no, their offers are not totally confined to the South.
Christ there are like 34 people at that school and I cannot stop meeting them on the street.
