Watch for internship
I'm about to do an internship at a BB investment bank and wanted to buy a watch for the internship. Personally, I like the Tudor BB54 and Longines Hydroconquest GMT in black. What do you think of these watches? Are they too expensive for an intern?
Buy what you like. Nobody is gonna care or notice what watch you’re wearing unless it’s something extremely ostentatious like a Royal Oak or some shit.
Dang...my friend just got the rose gold w silver dial haha
He sounds insufferable
I wear a Baume watch that I have had since my internship, but agree that any watch you wear is generally fine as long as it’s not ostentatious
You'll be fine with either - you'd get made fun of (a little) if it was a Rolex or something, but nobody's sweating over a Tudor.
I've had the older version of the Hydroconquest for years and I still love it and wear it almost every day
Either of those are completely fine for an intern. Go with whichever you like better.
