Wells Fargo 2024 CIB Commercial Real Estate Summer Analyst Program / Investment Banking?
Just got an interview with this Wells Fargo program, but I am looking to go into investment banking. Does anyone know if this program translates to investment banking or would be beneficial for FT recruiting?
I haven't gotten an offer yet for 2024 summer, and I want to do anything that can help me get a FT gig, but I don't have much of an interest in real estate, nor do I want to waste my time preparing for the interview it if it would be useless.

I got a first round too and I do not go to a target.

had a networking call with a vp yesterday and he got back to me this morning and told me the NYC office is done giving out first rounds
did first round interviews have any technicals?
Not really, just know general stuff about RE market. May get one question on just like something that you know has happened in the market recently.

I think I can be of use here...I know almost everything there is to know about this firm and CIB CRE. In short, no it does not translate to IB easily at all. WF will pay its top originators (front end sales volume drives) quite well. Otherwise, all of the negative you hear about WF is accurate.
