Wells Fargo Charlotte vs Oppenheimer NYC?

Thoughts on Wells Fargo's Charlotte vs Oppenheimer NYC? How does the culture, exit ops, and pay compare / what is the overall better choice?

I worked at one, and a past romantic partner worked at another. Highly dependent on your desires. Each of these groups specialize in different ways and have cons in others. Which industry do you want to cover the most, and what do you want out of banking? Culture is likely better at Wells Fargo, at least a couple years ago. Oppenheimer could be a sad place depending on your seniority & group. Oppenheimer has the potential to have much, much worse hours. Exit ops is likely better at Oppenheimer if you want the traditional route. Exits included Starwood, HIG to name a few. They even have alums at Bridgewater & KKR. Pay is probably better at Wells Fargo but not by much, and also again depends on your group.
