Wells does a lot of ABF and is pretty high on the league tables. I don't think fifth third does a lot of sponsors stuff (if they do, will mostly be on levfin side). I'd say this is about what you want to do. If you want to chill as a banker and make high 6 figures, I'd choose Wells ABF (you'll have limited exit opps). If you are interested in exits / buyside, I'd take FSG at fifth third. Just remember, 5 3 is not a strong bank.
To add: How difficult would it be to lateral to a more traditional IB group like TMT, healthcare, etc
What office and FT or Sa? Lmk so I can help on the subject
SA, charlotte
are you actually joking? why in the fuck would you ever think about picking 5 3 over WF?
Personally would take WF. Their ABF numbers have been pretty strong overall, and know some people who have achieved moderately good exits. I would imagine that it would be easier to move to BB from WF than 5/3.
What do you mean by moderately good exits?
How do you know for sure you’re in ABF? I’m an incoming SA at WF and we just got emails last week about the placement process kicking off. I was under the impression that everyone got platform offers
