WF dinner allowence

Just read the news about the goldman dinner allowence and I feel like WF is ripping us off.

Goldman now reimburses $35 for dinner after 8pm. Meanwhile, WF only gives $15. The only food near my branch is salmon ($40+), king crab ($120+), or polar bear (illegal to hunt and thus highly expensive)

Any of the options above results in a significant out of pocket expense. When will WF execs start supporting their employees in the same way that other banks do?

A WF VP told me they intentionally lowered the dinner stipend. The employees in the Alaskan offices were so overweight that the company’s healthcare costs were through the roof.

Goldman, on the other hand, is full of anorexic Ozempic monkeys who don’t have enough blubber to survive the Alaskan winter, hence the stipend increase.
