What books do you recommend to read for investing?
Hello everyone, what books do you recommend to read for someone that is just starting out to invest?

this gets commented a lot but I think it’d be useful if someone who has read it gave a reason behind why these books are helpful. by no means as a substitute for reading it but maybe answering the questions of what you liked most about the books? Does it read theoretical or more practical?
The first book tells you how to avoid the most common traps and mistakes and be in general a reasonable and adequate investor - a very rare skill btw. The second one teaches you how to analyse the securities and is the holy grail for the equity research.
Think of these books as a fundamental base to build off of. They introduce concepts that are integral to understanding the "why" of investing. These books were written with the intention of practicality, but today (given accounting changes, etc.) they should be approached as a theoretical read.
