I'm pretty new to this and the definitions of MMs, BBs and Boutiques have been pretty vague. Can someone point out exactly how they are categorized and whether the ranking matters?
In particular, please tell me where does Deustche Bank, ABN AMRO, CSFB and Lehman stand with respect to each other in terms of "general reputation" and "sales and trading".
