What determines the culture of a group?
I’m wondering what determines a groups culture. I’ve met various teams that seem so different. Even within a firm, you have some groups that have a bunch of nerds, some are fratty, some are a random mixture of people etc.
The seniors, plain in simple. Their working style, relationship to other power brokers in the firm, the deals they bring in, their personalities. It all cascades from there.
