What team to join in local elite boutique (Infra vs general)

Hey guys

First post here but lets get to it

Im starting full time in the leading boutique in my country in half a year. Basically the firm is advising on traditional M&A in multiple sectors (with 1 part of the deal generally being local). In addition to this the firm has a department for global infrastructure M&A advisory.

I have the opportunity to join either of the two teams but im not sure which to choose. I find both very exciting but im thinking about the opportunities going forward.. Do you guys think its a good way to go to specialize in infrastructure/renewables early on or would you go for the general team?

I might want to go PE later on but i am not sure yet.

Any advice/toughs appreciated.
