What's the bullpen experience like?

What's it like with your fellow analysts / associates during peak grind hours? Of course it depends bank to bank and group to group, but are some more fratty in nature versus nerdy and quiet? Are people easy to work with / aren't dicks if you have a question? Would love to hear about the range of experiences people have had.

Bullpen was the best part of banking experience IMO. Office is pretty casual after senior bankers leave and it’s great eating dinner together in bullpen, chatting with friends between comments, messing around on the weekend, etc. My best friends are from the bullpen and it was pretty crucial part of my experience. It’s also a lot easier to build a network in office.

POV: After a night of mind-numbing comment turns followed by excessive drinking with coworkers at the bar of your choice, you enter the bullpen at 10am completely rejuvenated and ready to do it all over again.

Note: GIF above represents BB IB bullpen pre-COVID-19. Current analysts work in slaughter pens where they face a barrage of comments 24/7 with no hope of human interaction besides an occasional angry phone call from the VP/Director/MD.
