What's the M&A market looking like right now in the US?

With the interest rate hikes, inflation, and what appears to be a recession, how has the Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) market been faring in the United States?  Has it been business as usual, or has M&A dried up significantly?  Also, any noticeable differences across sectors (e.g. more or less M&A in tech than before, etc.?)
