When to resend cold emails?
Hi,
I emailed a VP at an elite boutique, at 7am yesterday morning for a role he posted recruiting for an analyst position in his team.
I thought 7am would be a good time as it would be the first email of the day in his inbox. However I did not receive a response, ofc there is the case of him reading the email, not liking my profile and ignoring it but now I’m a little worried that I may have just sent the email too early and it getting lost in his inbox or him forgetting to reply as he may have only just woken up?
Is it worth sending a follow up email or resending the same email ?

My general guide for cold emailing.
Max 4 times (including initial)
First: Initial email Second: Week after Third: Two weeks after second email Fourth: One month after third email
If you don’t get any response, especially for a job post that usually needs to get filled asap, after the second email its probably best to move on
Hi thanks for the reply, with the second email, would you recommend resending the first email as a brand new email? or as a follow up I.e replying to your previous email along the lines of ‘hi I just wanted to follow up on my previous email..’
