Where are the best TMT and ECM groups?

Hey guys, I've been doing some self assessment and think that Technology and ECM are two groups that I would do really well in and enjoy - i'm well aware that ECM is the "worst" position for lateraling to PE but that doesn't concern me.

That being said, what firms/groups have the strongest TMT and ECM groups? I don't necessarily mean the #1 most badass and prestigious group; more so like: best culture? learning experience? involvement with higher ups? in-depth coverage? Upward mobility?

Also - when asked * Why ECM, * my response has always been that I prefer ECM the most because I enjoy/have deep interest in emerging markets and that the prospect of working on IPO's really excites me. Is this a basic response - even though it's actually true?

Cheers
