Where to find contacts to expand network?
Hello monkeys!
First off, I know this is the 5000th someone posted about one of these topics, and I know this sounds like the dumbest question in the world, but I'm just so confused about where you guys manage to find so people to contact. So I'd really appreciate it if someone could help explain.
First off, I'm a sophomore at a semi-target looking to secure a boutique internship for the coming summer. I've found websites of boutique banks, but it only gave me contacts of the management and partners, which I'm hesitant to reach out to (and there's only so many of them). And secondly, I've been looking to Linkedin but almost everyone appears as "Linkedin member." So I guess my question I'm supposed to be adding more people on Linkedin to expand the Linkedin connections?
After I secure the contacts, I'm planning to cold email and try to set up a phone call. Please let me know if this is the right way to approach and if there's any better ways to reach out to people. Thanks in advance!
