Which IB firms sponsor international students?

Hi everyone,

I’m a sophomore at Boston University starting to recruit for Investment Banking Summer 2027.

As an international student, is it realistic to land an IB role at regional or middle market banks, and which firms are generally sponsor friendly?

Also, if you’re starting recruiting around now as a sophomore, what should you be doing right now to maximize your chances of landing an internship?

Would appreciate any advice. Thanks!
