Who has the most power in society?

Hi all who has the most power in society? Is it the founders and CEOs of the biggest PE MFs and i-banks, or the highest-ranking government officials like being a direct advisor to POTUS?

Try giving an accurate answer to the question if you can, if you are as wise as you appear to be

In the least conspiracy way ever, I believe that it's the people you never hear about or see in the news.

Even the biggest money manager or rainmaker advisor has clients. Politicians answer to their constituents.

Notice how the wealthiest families of all time are never mentioned in any Forbes list or any of that shit.

The truly powerful don't want anyone to know it, lest it upset the balance.

Power. What is that? It’s an ill-defined question to begin with. Is it money? Bezos has a lot of money. And influence. He has it’s own newspaper, media company, etc. But he’s at the mercy of politicians decisions/regulation. Same with Zuck, or Bill Gates, or anyone else. And they can’t bomb a country. Biden can, but he can’t decide monetary policy…

Wealthy families nobody heard about? Those don’t exist. Can keep low profile and not be a household name, but they are not unknown. And for one bug family with money and influence, there’s another one with same amount of money and influence in the opposite direction.

That’s the beauty of this world. Everyone has some power, nobody has all the power, who is the most powerful person is a bit dumb question.
