Worth it to transfer for IB if it means starting Spring 2026?

Here’s the dilemma: if I transfer, I’d start at Gtown in Spring 2026 — just one semester before summer 2026 internships (which are crucial for junior summer IB recruiting). I’m currently prepping hard this summer using the WSP Premium Package, networking, and doing everything I can to position myself for a Summer 2027 IB internship.

Assuming I get in and make the move — would starting at Georgetown in Spring 2026 still give me enough time to land a junior summer 2027 internship? Especially if I grind hard and take full advantage of the MSB network and OCR?

Even in the worst-case scenario — if I’m a bit behind on recruiting — could I still make up ground and get something solid IN JUNIOR FALL for junior summer?

TL;DR: Should I transfer from BC CSOM to Georgetown MSB in Spring 2026 for IB recruiting? Can I still realistically break into IB despite transferring a semester late?
