Would you work for Deutsche Bank ?

Got a call from Deutsche Bank in Florida for a portfolio manager position in their structured lending wealth management COO division. I had read they are trying to grow wealth management division so it makes sense they are recruiting for this now.

I’m aware of the recent lay offs and upon doing some more research it seems as employees have been worried about Job cuts since mid 2018. The amount of fines this bank has been hit with are insane. Also, they have done some horrible things from what I read. There’s a Forbes article that details all the negative things this company has been involved in. Not to mention the earnings miss quarter after quarter.

Would anyone move from a stable bank out of state move to FL for this type of job? I work for a big bank and thankfully we aren’t worried about job cuts. On the other hand, moving sounds appealing as well as a new challenge but I’m concerned about the morale at the office and whether this would be a stressful adventure to get into. I would have to move my entire life and purchase a house in Florida based on this job.
